Like those famous writers, archeologists, egyptologits, we sailed like 'Pashas' aboard this "Dhahabiya", restaured , & dating back from the late 18th centuary...
It was really a very very pleasant sailing by the force of the prevailing wind (North-South) between Luxor & Aswan...............
In this photo... It was our 'sublime' moment of departure from Luxor...
We were 8 aboard, 8 friends...who really appreciated, simple necessities of life, but apreciated more tremendously, the luxury of being aboard of an elegant 'Dahabiyah' from the late 18th centuary..
We felt like, Flaubert, Denon & Pierre Lotti discovring for the very first time the Nile banks...& seeing exactly what they saw in their writings...
